Adi Kahana is Performance artist, makeup artist as well as set and stage designer based in Jerusalem. Her work draws inspiration from various mythologies, legends and fantasy that in turn offer a unique perspective on metaphysical questions and phenomena of our current times.

The nature of her work creates a fantastical theatrical space wherein the visible and the hidden are intertwined and objects magically come to life. Making a place for the grotesque and meticulously detailed characters she both creates the makeup designs, costumes and movement choreography. Often creating site specific pieces that call for interaction with the public.

Adi is a graduate of the school of Visual Theater (SVT) in Jerusalem and of the track for training dancers and choreographers in Haifa. Her work was exhibited internationally at various venues and festivals including Israel, Netherlands and Japan.

עדי חיה ויוצרת בירושלים. בוגרת בית הספר לתיאטרון חזותי והמסלול להכשרת רקדנים וכוריאוגרפים בחיפה.עבודותיה הוצגו בתיאטראות ופסטיבלים שונים בארץ, הולנד ויפן.
